nice and convenient it's not in the way and it was easy to put together. i couldn't find a bedside table i liked for my dorm and that was perfect for what i needed. the accessories it comes with are really nice too! can fit my iphone 13 pro max in the phone holder, holds my 24oz owala on the hook, a regular cup or my 40 oz owala tumbler in the cup holder.

Not as durable as advertised Pay attention to the type of rail on the bed you will attach this to. Bought this for my son's dorm room bed, and not only was it difficult to attach, it just wasn't that sturdy once it was installed. It will work for his phone at night but I'd be nervous to put a water bottle in the cup holder because it's plastic and just doesn't feel like it would hold for long. I bought one that cost a little more thinking it'd be sturdy and was disappointed it the quality. Hopefully he can make it work through this year, but probably won't use it after that.

Perfect for dorm rooms! I bought this for my son to use for his bed in his dorm room at college. When we moved him in he was like, “Great Mom, what is this thing?!” but he reports that he’s glad to have it. It holds his phone and earplugs and his water. And while it’s perfect for dorm life, I could see this being useful to anyone who doesn’t have a night stand. A great idea!

LIFESAVER I am a freshman in college, and this is a must have. It is so incredibly convenient, even if you don't have a lofted bed. Such a durable product that I will use for the rest of my life. I have had at least three people walk into my room, comment on the shelf, and then promptly purchase it for themselves. If you're on the fence about buying this product, take the leap and just do it.

Love it! My sister purchased one for my son as a gift before he headed off to college. He has been using it for almost two years now and loves it. Gives him a place to set things off the edge of his elevated dorm bed. Quality product. We purchased another for my nephew when he left for school in a different finish.
